Dubai SEO Club ran a survey to better understand the SEO landscape locally.
The results were unsurprising.
There was a roughly even split between client side and agency side SEO professionals.
Most reported their duties went beyond SEO (PPC, Social, Tech support, Web Dev and more).
Most were on salaries or receiving some form of renumeration below 12,000 AED per month.
One of the biggest issues was getting stakeholder buy in and convincing IT to implement recommendations in a timely manner.
It’s clear there’s a lot of work to do still.
